its open season & my mind is the subject for subverted messages hidden in the sub-text
purpose written for division, see I clock that, in these hard times no compassion,
we're beyond that,
page 5 after 4 full of misery,
6 is the same, 7 judges us all physically
8 perpetuates the class divide, politician racists using fiction like they're facts to win our hearts & minds,
in this simulacrum truth can be hard to find,
bombarded with information, real or lie?
we can't decide
we stop asking why,
in a twist we ask for more, answers from the government,
who'd rather keep us starved & poor,
trust the printed word that nestles deep in cash pockets,
same ones who speak of peace but secretly they stash
rockets
talk of slashed profits, suits slang austerity,
still defence budgets sitting rich like they're celebrities,
IMF to B of E,
money like its C of E,
the new religion economic,
love is put to B E D

robbing us blind as they tell us to get the pounds in,

the media savage in its goal to keep the public dumb,
these muppets are the puppets of the ones we trust to not be scum,
for fun they got us baited to the lives of the rich & famous,
turn the pages, to the gossip tables if you're mostly brainless
promote the aims of life as death & war,
spread across the centre of the rag on pages 23 & 24,
a group of pictures that raise questions more, like how the only victims of these blanket bombs are schoolkids aged 10 to 4?
agendas pouring out left & right,
focus on distraction pieces to detract attention from the messy fight,
digress away into the section of the TV guide so we can't make the link its not entertainment,
this really life
clearly lies cloud the vision of our generation, live inside the bubble of the fake news simulation,
the war for the mind, a physical continuation to keep the status quo intact & straight up stifle inspiration
